Cinema chain Cineworld is rolling out ScreenX immersive cinema technology to offer moviegoers blockbuster films with a 270-degree view.
ScreenX mimics how the human eye interprets moving images by reaching both a viewer’s front and peripheral vision. The system, which made a successful debut in South Korea three years ago, will reach 100 screens nationwide.
Movies currently available in the format include Jason Statham shark fest The Meg and Marvel superhero actioner Ant-Man and the Wasp.
